Elie Saab created his elegant, feminine legacy through his early dress design work at age six in Beirut, which led to his Paris haute couture presentations. The beginning of his career began in 1982 when he launched his own atelier in Lebanon, which specialized in evening gowns and wedding dresses. His distinctive combination of lace with embroidery and pearls, together with luxurious fabrics, attracted royalty and celebrities during the mid-80s.
